Enes Marie (Sprague) Fillhart went into the presence of the Lord Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. She recently became a resident of Hamilton County along with her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Randall Schmid. Born December 14, 1925 in Sykesville, Pennsylvania to Lydia Hauck and Bert Sprague, the last of eleven children, Enes spent her first 50 years in the Keystone state, primarily in the Smethport area where she was part of the C&MA Church. Her remaining years were spent in Georgia, Texas and finally Port St. Lucie, Florida where she served in Grace Emmanuel Church. Her husband Donald preceded her in death in 1973 and her infant son, Ronnie, in 1946. She is survived also by her second daughter and husband, Laurie and Gene Gay of Midway, Georgia, and step grand-daughter, Lisa (Gay) and Travis Williams and Noah. Residing in Port St. Lucie are her three grandchildren and four great grandchildren: Eva and Eric Schmid and son Elliott, Stefanie Schmid and sons Trevor, Sebastian and Vincent, and step great grand-daughter Jolene Cecilio, and their father Marcus, and Chad and Jacquelyn Schmid Calvert. In addition to being beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Enes's career included industrial work, waitressing, home nursing, and motel night auditing.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home of Jasper will be caring for her remains and a memorial service was held at Corinth Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 11.

The family asks that anyone wishing to send a remembrance gift in her name would send it to the Corinth Baptist Church community food pantry: 7042 SW 41st Ave., Jasper, FL 32052.
