Ernestine Irene Lathinghouse, age 87, of Lake City, FL. passed away peacefully on May 29, 2014 at Lake City Medical Center. The Etowah, Tennessee native was born on November 14, 1926 to the late Isaac and Virginia Hodgson Romine. She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Columbia County. Ms. Lathinghouse was predeceased by her husband Raleigh Lathinghouse in October of 2001. Also preceding her in death was her son Robert, a daughter, Shirley LePriol and two sisters, Gladys and Naomi.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Leroy and Wanda Lathinghouse of Lake City, FL. and Tom and Linda Lathinghouse of Roanoke, Alabama; one daughter, Valarie Hepner of South Carolina; nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A private interment was at Evergreen Cemetery beside her husband Raleigh.
