Ethel Tanner Fry, age 87, of Jasper, FL. passed away on April 21, 2021 at Lake City Medical Center following a brief illness.
Ethel was one of 17 children. She was born in Alma, Georgia on July 27, 1933 to the late Thaddeus and Lula Spells Tanner. Ethel was the faithful wife of Russell Fry for 64 years. She was a woman of faith and she tried hard to live her life in a way that was pleasing to God. She heart was burdened for unwanted children and in addition to raising her own to sons, she fostered 10 more children. Ethel was a faithful member of Jasper Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Charlie D. McDaniel.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Fry; her two sons, Johnny D. McDaniel, Sr. and Russell Fry, Jr.; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home between 10:00 -10:45 a.m.
