Evester Loomis, age 98, of Jasper, FL. passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her home, following an extended illness. Evester was born May 9, 1913 to the late Frank and Rouamie Bryan Sapp. She was a caregiver and homemaker. Mrs. Loomis was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Jasper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Loomis and her son, Billy L. Loomis.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Alex Loomis and Andrea Eberhardt (Edward); four great grandchildren. A number of nieces and nephews who shared in the responsibility of meeting her needs along with her niece, Linda McDonald who was her full-time caregiver.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Jasper with Pastor Roger Hutto in charge.
