Florence D. Compo went into the presence of her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2022, after a long illness.

She was born on January 28, 1942 to Millard and Marion (McMahon) Dibble in Middleville, NY. Florence was a retired bookkeeper and in her later years worked for the local North Florida Wiggins Family LLLP (Partridge Pea Lodge). She was a long-time member of Corinth Baptist Church and served the Lord with all her heart. "Flo" was best known and loved for her devotion to her family, friends and steadfast conviction to her Lord. One of her favorite pastimes included games of "scrabble" and "dominoes" with her friends.

Florence is survived by her beloved daughter Susan (Compo Lytle) and special granddaughter, Kara. Her four brothers, Millard Richard (Dick) Dibble, Rochester, NY, Christopher Dibble, Jacksonville, FL, Daniel (Sue) Dibble, Greig, NY, David (Judy) Dibble, Lyons Falls, NY and one sister, Mary (Howard) Parsons. Also surviving are three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Compo, a sister Mildred Fiorentino and a brother William.

She was a dedicated caregiver to her three great grandchildren, Isaiah, Adaline and Elijah, whom she loved with all her heart. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, that will leave a void in all their lives. Her family wishes to express a special thank you to her Pastors Gary and Cindy Abbott, and dear friends Wayne and Sandy Hurst, and Bobby and Karen Rohrer, as well as her church family for all their love and care.

John 14:1-3 Jesus says "In my Father's house are many mansions: I go to prepare a place for you."

Services were held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 with interment in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions as per Florence's wishes were that donations would be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 7042 SW 41st Ave, Jasper FL 32052. Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. was in charge of arrangements.
