Floyd Emmett Brown, age 85, of Jennings, FL. passed away at his home on June 10, 2022.

Floyd was a native of Miami, Florida born on April 24, 1937 to the late George E. and Carolyn Dorsett Brown. His birth was one of joy as there was not one but two babies delivered that day and so every year Floyd shared a birthday with this guy named Lloyd who looked suspiciously just like him. There is a bond between twins that cannot be imagined away. Floyd joined the U.S. Army and served his country honorably. He worked for Florida Power and Light for many years as a supervisor before retiring and moving to Hamilton County. He loved getting out in his shop and would work for hours on his hand crafted knives and other projects. His knives were each individually crafted and sold or gifted to many in the community.

Survivors include his wife Patricia S. Brown; step son, Robert M. Sacks; step daughter, Theresa Jo Rohloff; his twin brother, Lloyd Brown and younger brothers, Allen and Robert Brown; granddaughters, Lauri Loper, Susan Phepps and Jennifer Rohloff.

Per his wishes, Floyd will be cremated. There will be no formal services at this time.
