Frances D. Jenkins, age 82, of Jasper, FL. passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center in Jasper following an illness of some time. Frances was born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky in 1931. She was a beloved wife to the late William Jenkins. They moved to the Hamilton County, FL. in 2005 from Waverly, Ohio. As long as they were active and able to go Frances and William attended Jasper First Baptist Church where they quickly made new friends. Frances was always able to get a smile out of people. She had a sweet, sweet spirit about her. Due to failing health they gave up their home and moved to Suwannee Valley Nursing Center. Mr. Jenkins passed away in 2009. Anyone who knew Frances knows that her passing was not to be viewed as a sad day but rather a happy reunion day.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Deborah Jenkins of Jasper, FL. and Michael and Tracey Jenkins of Sacramento, CA.; two sisters, Gerri and Sharon; eight grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Ohio.
