Geraldine Leigh Fisher, age 95, of Jasper, FL. passed away at Lake City Medical Center on Saturday, March 6, 2021 following a brief illness.

Geraldine Leigh Fisher was born July 28, 1925 in Hamilton County Florida to Cossie and Blanche Roebuck Leigh. After graduating from high school in Jennings Florida, Ms. Fisher married Tom Fisher and traveled the world during his service...Upon his retirement she spent the bulk of her adult life in Warner Robins Georgia where she enjoyed a civil-service career working at the Warner Robins Air Force Base. After retirement, she returned to Hamilton County, Florida where she spent her retired years enjoying studying her family genealogy, traveling the United States with friends, and spending time with her family. She also was an avid lover of history enjoyed many other hobbies, including crocheting, with which she blessed many of her family members with her handmade gifts. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Fisher, her parents Blanche Roebuck Jones and Cossie Leigh, her sister Faye Anne Jones Godwin, and her brother William Albert Jones, Jr. She was a faithful member of Bright Pond Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister Lillian Bembry; one brother Clayton Jones (Bonnie); and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Bright Pond Baptist Church with Pastor Gerald Smith officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
