Geraldine "Geri" Huddleston, age 76, of Jasper, FL. passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL. following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Geri was born on October 23, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Burke and Edith Mae Strickland Norris. She grew up in Jasper and graduated from Jasper High School. Soon after high school Geri joined the United States Army. She served as a medic and it was in Germany that she met and married the love of her life, Larry who was also there serving as a medic. Upon her return home from Germany, Geri went on to have a very successful career in banking in Indiana where they made their home until they retired and moved back to Jasper. With her long history in bookkeeping, it did not take long before she was back at work doing books for her brother Albert at Norris and Son Reforestation. When Geri wasn't working, she enjoyed spending time in the yards and doing her counted cross-stitch. Geri was a member of the Jasper Women's Club. Larry and Geri made First Baptist Church of Jasper their church family and they were loved by everyone that got to share the last 13 years with them. Geri was preceded by her parents, a brother, Howard Burke Norris and her beloved son, Rodney Huddleston.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Larry Huddleston, Jasper, FL.; her daughter, dianna Huddleston (Coleen Connor) of West Lafayette, Indiana; her brother Albert B. Norris (Gyla), of Jasper, FL.; her sister, Nora Norris Horne, of Jasper, FL.; and three grandchildren, Kenny, Keith and Nicole Huddleston.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Jasper, FL. with Pastor Roger Hutto officiating.

Geri was entombed at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens in West Lafayette, Indiana.
