Gladys Faye Hill, age 85, of Jasper, FL. passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Faye was born on September 16, 1934 in Canton, N.C. to the late Orville and Leona Cowan Liford. She was the oldest of eight children. She met a young Navy man named S. Wendell Hill, who offered his hand in marriage, she accepted and the two became one. Wendell was called into the ministry in 1957 and she was as dedicated as he was to spreading God's love. It seemed their lives were inseparable as they both started working for the Hamilton County School System, he as a teacher and she as an administrative assistant. Sadly, he passed away following a very brief illness in December of 2007. She was also predeceased by a brother Kenny and her sister Ruth.

Survivors include her two daughters, Lojuan Hill and Levette Barber (Robert); her brother, Don Liford; four sisters, Carolyn Rudisell, Wanda Goodson, Neetie Scott and Nonnie Hall; one granddaughter, Amanda Cox (Kenny); three grandchildren, Hunter, Emma and Kenslie; also surviving Faye are close friends, Pattie and Jim Strate and Thelma and Phil Lucas; and grand-dogs, Gracie, SweetPea and MollyRose.

Due to the current Covid crises, there was a private graveside service on Monday, June 15, 2020.
