Obituary

This obituary has been added to this website as a courtesy to the Fenneman Family. Glen and his wife were beloved residents of Madison County. Their son, Don and his wife Kim are our family here in Hamilton County. We love you and we are praying a hedge of comfort around each of you as you face the next few days and weeks.

Glen Edward Fenneman, 83, passed away on February 14, 2020 in Madison, FL. He was born October 19, 1936 in Holland, Indiana to Arthur Fenneman and Mary Kielblock Fenneman as the third of seven children.

He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Lee United Methodist Church and taught "The Angels In Training" Sunday School class with his wife Stuart for many years. Glen worked as a Manager for Dixie Packers for 40 years and retired to spend more time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and anything outdoors. He was known as "Papa Glen" to all of the grandchildren and they brought him his greatest joy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Stuart Fenneman, his parents Arthur and Mary Fenneman, his brother Bob Fenneman, his sisters Cleo Evaskis, Nellie Williams, and Jan Schneider.

Glen is survived by his children Don Fenneman (Kim), Dan Fenneman, Lorie Small; his sister Jean Fehribach, his brother Jerry "Butch" Fenneman; his sister in law Peggy Jo Hill, 5 grandchildren Joshua Webb, Paige Jones (Damian), Jordan Fenneman (Angel), Kaley Fenneman, Emily Fenneman and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services were held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Stonewall Cemetery SE Magnolia Drive, Lee, Florida 32059 with Rev. Pat Doyle, Rev. Steve McHargue, and Rev. Jack Tilk officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to The Stonewall Cemetery Fund 567 SE Atlas Street, Madison, Florida 32340 or to The Madison Youth Ranch 1647 NE Captain Buie Road, Pinetta, Florida 32350. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Madison.
