Glenda Faye Boyd, age 60, of Live Oak, FL, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Shands at U.F. Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Mrs. Boyd was a native of Hamilton County and enjoyed a quiet life as a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Boyd Sr.

Survivors include her two sons, Phillip Boyd Jr. and James Boyd, both of Live Oak, FL; brothers, Hilliard Tanner, Billy Tanner, Sammy Tanner, E.D. Tanner, all of Jasper, FL, and Roger Tanner, of Lake Butler, FL; sisters, Marie Batz, of Avon Park, FL, Frances Thornton, of Lake City, FL, Sandra Streat, and Betty Hodges, both of Glen St. Mary, FL; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Pine Grove Church of God, Luraville, FL, with Pastor John Earp officiating. Interment followed at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Dowling Park, FL.
