Ms. Glenda McCartney Wynn, age 70, of Jennings, FL. passed away on September 15, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. following a lengthy illness.

Glenda was born in Sumpter, SC on January 31, 1951 to the late Walter and Norma Kelly McCartney. She was not afraid of hard work and worked many jobs to support her family. She loved hunting and fishing and as sick as she might have been, hunting this coming fall was still on her list of things to do. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Wynn in November of 2017.

Survivors include her three sons, James Douglas "Doug" Benard,  Julian L. Wynn, Jr. (Gena)  and Joshua Hand; two step daughters, Chris Fye and Amy Bearden; five brothers, Chuck McCartney, Scott McCartney, David McCartney, Ray McCartney and Johnny McCartney; and 10 grandchildren.

Per her request Glenda will be cremated. It was her wish that her family remember her as the wife, mother and sister she was on the best day they shared together.
