Mrs. Gloria Strickland, age 82, of Jasper, FL. passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City. Mrs. Strickland was born in Jacksonville, FL. to the late Charlie and Elsie Cribbs. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Jasper and was the secretary and treasurer of her Sunday School Class. Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Mr. Willie "Bill" Strickland and two sons, Willie Strickland, Jr. and an infant son.

Survivors include one son, Charlie Frank Strickland, O'Brien, FL.; three daughters, Sue Strickland, Jasper, FL. Hazel Strickland, Jasper, FL. and Shrea McCoy of Live Oak, FL.; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 14, 2010 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Pastor Roger Hutto officiating.

Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
