Gloria Elaine Register Wilkinson, age 82, of Jasper, FL. passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.
Gloria was born on April 11, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL. to the late Clinton and Effie Parrish Register. She worked for many years with the Department of Transportation before transferring to the Department of Corrections in Hamilton County where she retired. Gloria was a member of the Jasper Woman's Club, Past President of the UNW and was always active in the county wide sisterhood. Gloria was always such an inspiration to her church family and played a key role on the grief committee at the First United Methodist Church of Jasper were she and her husband Robert were members. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Patricia Leigh Wilkinson Payne, her brother, William Clinton Register, her sisters, Dorothy Wright, Clara Rose and Millie Lucas.

Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Wilkinson, IV of Jacksonville, FL.; her daughter, Julie Wilkinson of Jasper, FL.; her grandson, Bryan Andrew Fuchs and his wife Kasey; and three great grandchildren, Tyler Stokes, Jaxon Morgan and Karson William Fuchs

In keeping with Gloria's wishes, she will be cremated. There will be a private interment at a later date.
