Gregory Marvin Beck, age 68, of Statenville, GA, passed away on May 4, 2021 at Langdale Hospice in Valdosta, GA.

Greg was the son of the late Billy and Mary Kathryn "Kitty" Scaff Beck. He was born in Valdosta, GA on October 11, 1952 and lived most of his life in Jennings, FL. Greg worked as a corrections officer for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for a number of years until he was finally forced to retire due to declining health. Greg loved all things outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt and he loved to ride motorcycles and race cars at warp speed. He was a longtime member of Jennings Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Floreca "Missy" Beck; his son, Kelsey Beck (Anita) of Jennings, FL. and Sheldon Beck of Statenville, GA.; his daughter, Sabrina Howell of Jennings, FL.; one brother, Tony Beck of Jennings, FL. and his two sisters, Melanie Beck of Jennings and Stacy Beck of Valdosta, GA.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Per his request, Greg was cremated. He will be buried at Statenville Cemetery in Statenville, GA.

Graveside services were held at Statenville Cemetery on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jennings Missionary Baptist Church.
