Harold Stafford Law, Sr., of Jennings, FL, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on April 17, 1941, in Live Oak, FL to the late Stafford and Opal Law.

Harold spent over two decades proudly serving with the Florida Highway Patrol, earning the respect of both his colleagues and community. His commitment to service and safety left a lasting impact on the area he loved so dearly. Retirement didn't slow him down—Harold went on to manage Hamilton Produce and later drove trucks for local logging companies, always staying active and involved in his community.

Outside of work, Harold was most at peace with a fishing pole in hand. Whether it was freshwater or saltwater, fishing was one of his greatest joys, especially when it meant time spent with family at Keaton Beach. He was also a devoted member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Jennings, where his faith was a quiet but steady part of his life.

Harold leaves behind his devoted wife of 61 years, Olivia Vaughan Law; two sons, Harold "Bucky" Stafford Law, Jr. of Jennings, and Jeffrey Law (Wanda Faye), also of Jennings; two sisters, Jean Decker of Texas and Faye Culpepper of Statenville, GA; six grandchildren: Olivia, Jeffrey "Bubba," Lilly Pearl, Kelsey, Kaleb, and Gabrielle; and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Sherrill and Virgil Law; and his sister, Alice Andrews.

A funeral service celebrating Harold's life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Jennings, FL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.

Harold will be remembered as a hardworking, honorable man who loved his family, his faith, and the simple pleasures of life. His steady presence and strong spirit will be deeply missed.
