Hazel B. McCoy, age 76, of Jasper, FL. passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 27, 2017. Hazel was a native and lifelong resident of Hamilton County born, Dec. 1, 1940 to the late Grover and Eliza Peterson Burnham. She  was a homemaker and was a member of Jasper Advent Christian Church. Hazel was preceded in death by four brothers.

Survivors include her three sons, Randy McCoy (Melody), Richie McCoy (Doreen) and Sammy McCoy (Erica), all of Jasper, FL.; two brothers, Bill Burnham, Wellborn, FL. and David "Doodle Bug" Burnham of Jennings, FL.; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held  on Sunday, January 29, 2017 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper with Rev. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Interment followed at Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County, Georgia.
