Helen Deloris Rodgers, 77, of Wellborn, Florida, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital while in the compassionate care of Haven Hospice.
Born on October 14, 1948, Helen was the daughter of the late Riley Harper and the late Louise Small. She retired from Levi Strauss after many years of dedicated service. Helen was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who cherished her family above all else.
Deloris enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, cooking for those she loved, and spending time fishing. Her warm heart, caring spirit, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Greg and her brother, Dewayne.
Deloris is survived by her beloved husband, Russell Rodgers of Wellborn, Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Williams (Jeff) of Nashville, Georgia; her son, Dale Rodgers (Shelly) ; her daughters, Sclena Crooks and Deanna Carter; her brothers, John L. Harper (JoBeth) of Nashville, Georgia, Darren Small (Susan) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Danny Small (Debbie) of Sanibel, Florida; and her sister, Delaine Williams (Greg) of Alapaha, Georgia.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kathryn Williams, Cole Carter, and Taylor Carter, as well as other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, 901 4th Street NW, Jasper, Florida 32052. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5325 County Road 136 South, Live Oak, Florida.
