Herbert Junior Register, of White Springs, FL. passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 17, 2023 at the age of 75.

Herbert was born on November 23, 1947 to the late Willis and Ada Brannon Register. Herbert worked at Occidental/PCS for over 45 years and retired from the float plant operations department. It was his nature to work having been brought up during hard times and so when holidays came and the other men requested time off, Herbert often volunteered to work. His wife and children remember many holidays "Daddy" spent at the plant. But his time came and when it did he tried to make up for it by making sure he was there for his boys and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking them out to the woods hunting or out on the water fishing. Herbert and his wife brought four sons and a daughter into the world but their home was a safe haven for many-many children over the years. Sadly Herbert was preceded in death by his son, William Herbert Register and grandson, Braden C. Register.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Penny" Byars Register; his three surviving sons, Robert Brian Register, Benjamin "Ben" Register (Olivia) and Barrett Kiel "Bear" Register; his only daughter, Crystal "Nikki" Kistler; his God-son, Stanley "Bo-Peep" Shakespear; his brother Cecil Register; his three sisters, Linda Glover (Richard), Janice Cook and Debra Brantley (David); 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held  on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs, FL.
