Inez Sheffield Bryant, age 88, of White Springs, FL. passed away on February 12, 2022 at Haven Hospice with her family by her side.

Inez was the daughter of the late William and Pearlie Johns Sheffield. She married Allen Poe Bryant and the two moved to Jacksonville where Inez attended Jones Business College. She worked at Independent Life while in Jacksonville. Upon returning to Hamilton County, she went to work as a data processor at Occidental. He life was not always an easy one. She suffered the loss of her son Stephen Allen Bryant and infant daughter, Gloria Ann Bryant. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Lester Sheffield, George Sheffield and Mitchell Sheffield and sisters, Jesse Padgett, Lois McCullough, Maddie Wynn and Jeanette Kirkland.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Allen Poe Bryant; two daughters, Kathy DeMarco and Brenda Bryant Roberts; seven grandchildren and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with her niece Ellen Hempsted officiating.

Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
