Jack Nathan Jenkins, aged 83, of Live Oak, FL passed away on August 25, 2023, at his home. Jack was born May 29th, 1940, in Live Oak, FL to the late Ned Jenkins and Effie Marie Simmons. Jack was retired from the City of Jasper. He was married to his wife of 30 years, Dinah Garlo Jenkins. Together, they attended Mount Gilead Church in Live Oak, FL.  He loved music and enjoyed picking the guitar as well as the dobro.  Jack also enjoyed a little fishing from time to time and he was an excellent handy man.  He had a knack for working on appliances, particularly washers and dryers.

Jack's survivors include his beloved wife, Dinah; son, Shane Jenkins of Live Oak, FL; daughter, Sharman Johnson (Larry) of Live Oak, FL; son, Faron Jenkins of Texas; daughter Geneva of Texas; step-sons, Galdin Roy Go and Galdin Rey Go; brothers, Irvin Jenkins of Live Oak, FL; Jody Jenkins of Live Oak, FL; and Jerry Jenkins of Lake City, Florida; sisters, Shirley Jenkins (Lewis) of Live Oak, FL and Margie J. Moss (Bob) of Live Oak, FL and 10 grandchildren.  Jack was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Jenkins of Wellborn, FL.

All arrangements are under the direction of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home of Jasper, FL   A funeral service will be held at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper FL on Monday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  The graveside service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL, immediately after the funeral service.
