Jackie Richard Ramsey, age 61, of Jasper, FL. passed away Saturday, August 20 at the Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, FL. Jack was a native of Charleston, West Virginia. He was born on November 29, 1949 to the late Fred Franklin Ramsey and Bertha Mae Tanner Ramsey. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Twy Ramsey, Jasper; one son, John Thomas Clayton Ramsey, Ft. Jackson, S.C.; two step daughters, Sherry Casto, Sissonville, West Virginia and Rhonda Lou Hill, Jacksonville, FL.; one brother, Ernie Ramsey, Tuscon, AZ.; two sisters, Gloria Flowers, Elkview, WV and Rose Linville, Charleston, WV; four grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with military honors.
