Jackson "Jack" B. Harrison, Sr., age 81, Lake Park, GA passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL. with Bro. Bob Willis officiating.



Jackson was born in Valdosta, GA on January 30, 1935 and was a lifetime resident of Ga. Jack was employed by Owens Illinois/PCA for 49 years. Jack and Gail dearly loved visiting Jamaica and he was able to make his last trip there this past year. As his health declined he found himself living it up in his easy chair watching episodes of NCIS. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jonathan and Grace Bulloch Harrison and a sister, Rose Henry.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Gail Adicks Harrison, Lake Park, GA.; three sons, Ben Harrison and his wife Stephanie, Valdosta, GA., David Harrison and his wife Cindy, also of Valdosta, GA., and Bruce Harrison and his wife Karen of Dasher, GA.; one daughter, Nicole Rupert and her husband Chad of Watkinsville, GA.; one brother, Farney Harrison and his wife Cathy of Valdosta, GA; one sister, Suzy Scheuring and her husband Bob of Valdosta, GA; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
