Obituary
Jacqueline Ella Deas Register, age 77, of Lake Park, GA., passed away at her home on April 10, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Jacqueline was born in Jennings, FL. on Feb. 21, 1938 to the late Wallace and Ovis Smith Deas. During her working years she worked outside the home but always considered her primary role in life was to be the best wife and mother that she could be. Those that loved her knew that she met and exceeded that goal. She was a faithful daughter to her parents and a wonderful sister to her brothers and sisters. Jacqueline was a member at West Lake Church of God where she attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Ovis Deas and a brother, Ralph Deas.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ray M. Register of Lake Park, GA.; her son, Ray M. Register, Jr.(Sarah), White Springs, FL.; her daughter, Angela Eriks (Brad) of Echols County, GA.; one brother, Jon W. Deas (Ellen), Jennings, FL.; four sisters, Nell Collier (Lonnie), Statenville, GA., Bonnie Jones (Clayton), Jasper, FL., Gwendolyn Coleman (Omar "Pete"), Jennings, FL. and Gayle Ratliff (Roger), Jasper, FL.; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 12, 2015 at West Lake Church of God on CR 141 near Jennings, FL.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
