James "Jimmy" MacArthur Dampier, Jr., age 50, of Jasper, FL. passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida following an illness of some time. Jimmy was born in Jasper, Florida on September 12, 1962. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a retired auto mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lynn Keys Dampier of Jasper; his parents, James MacArthur "Mac" Dampier and Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Walk, of Jasper; three brothers, Clay Goolsby (Valerie), Jennings, FL.; Neal Wachob of the Carolina's and Nathan Wachob (Mary), Tallahassee, FL.; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL.
