Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Wrights Chapel United Methodist Church.
James "Jamie" Padgett, age 42, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly.
Jamie was a native of Echols County. He was born in Valdosta, GA on November 3, 1975 to parents, Jimmy E. and Ethel Earnestine Padgett. He was a graduate of Echols County High School. Jamie was a typical South Georgia boy that loved fishing and the Georgia Bulldogs. He was of the Baptist faith. Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy E. Padgett.
Survivors include his two sons, Ethan and Evan Padgett of Roswell, GA; his mother, Ethel Earnestine Padgett Newsome and step-father-Barney Newsome of Jennings, FL.; his brother, Jimmy Padgett, Jr. of Jasper, FL.; also surviving is his fiancé`, Karen Reeves of Greenville, South Carolina.
