Mr. James Douglas Peeples, age 74, of Jasper, FL. passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Madison, FL.

Mr. Peeples was a native of Bradford, Ohio born May 22, 1943 to the late Ora and Lena Matthias Peeples and was one of eight children.  James was a longtime resident of Ohio where he worked as a tow-motor mechanic for Crown. He moved to the Hamilton County area some nine years ago from Ohio to be closer to some of the family and enjoy some Florida weather. James was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anthony Peeples.

Survivors include one son, Everett Adams, Ohio; four daughters, Bonnie Peeples, Ohio, Lori Peeples, PA., Terry Adams, Jasper, FL., Wanda Wirrig, Ohio; one brother, Billy Peeples, Ohio; and one sister, Joyce Ann Williams, Ohio; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Per his request Mr. Peeples will be cremated.

His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL.
