Jeanette Johnson, born on January 24, 1938, in Statenville, Georgia, peacefully passed away on February 23, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Orlene Carter Hughes.

Jeanette's greatest joys were spending time with family and friends.  She had a passion for riding motorcycles, dancing, fishing and enjoyed everything about the outdoors. Along with her other passions, she loved to bake and was exceptional in creating wedding cakes.  Not only were they beautiful, but they were absolutely delicious.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her loving son, Doug Winters. She is survived by her devoted sons, Bobby Vann of Statenville, Georgia, Mike Winters of West Virginia, and David Winters of Lake Park, Georgia. She also leaves behind her cherished brother, Randall Hughes, of Lake Park, Georgia, and sister, Shirley Parr, of Jasper, Florida. Jeanette's legacy extends through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each a testament to her love and nurturing spirit.

At this time, no formal services are being planned. However, the family will hold a private gathering to honor Jeanette's memory at a later date.
