Jeff Kirkland, better known as "Block" age 35, of Jennings, Fla. passed away early Friday morning, February 10, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jeff was born in Jasper, Fla. on April 12, 1976. He attended and graduated from Hamilton County High School. Jeff worked many jobs in his short life and was most recently employed by Seminole Produce. He enjoyed living life to the fullest. Those that knew him enjoyed his playful spirit but knew that they could depend on him as a friend and defender. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Penny Sue Hill Moore.

Survivors include his parents, Jeff (Sr.) and Marilyn Avriett, Jennings, Fla. and Dennis Kirkland, Jessup, GA.; one brother, Tommy Kirkland, Madison, FL.; nephew and niece, Garrett and Layla; his grandmother, Madell Deloach, Jennings, FL.; numerous step brothers and step sisters, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Sassers Landing Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to a special account at First Federal to help with burial expenses.
