Jeffery A. Gause, born on October 31, 1956, in Lake City, FL, to John and Betty Gause, passed away on May 15, 2024, surrounded by his adoring family. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Jeff spent 43 dedicated years as a heavy equipment operator at PCS Phosphate, now Nutrien, in White Springs, FL, before retiring.

Jeff had a deep love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours running dogs with his buddies in several local hunt clubs, a passion that brought him much joy and adventure. He also enjoyed fishing and cherished the time spent with his friends and family. Known for his generosity, Jeff was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

Jeff is survived by his son, Jeffery E. Gause of Jasper, his son, David Gause (April) of Jasper, his daughter, Jenny Tippie (David) of Jasper; his sister, Karan Gwynn (Jack) of Jasper; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Wells Gause, and his brothers: John, Marvin "Bud," and Michael.

A graveside service to honor Jeff's life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL, at 10 a.m. Jeff will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
