Jeffrey Allen Bennett Gritz, 35, of Jennings FL. was born in Jasper FL on Oct. 6, 1984 passed away peacefully in his sleep on, Jan. 10, 2020, in Athens WI.

Jeffrey is survived by his parents Jeff and Caroline Bennett Gritz of Jennings FL.; his children Makeya Skye Emmerich (Nikki) of Indigo, WI., Makenzie Grace Bennett (Kristen) of Lake Park, GA, Meyah Lei Bennett (Ariel) of Wassau, WI. Jeffrey is also survived by his paternal grandmother Joan Gritz and preceded by the late Bill Gritz also of Jennings FL.; his maternal grandparents the late Clifford and Ida Bennett of Statenville GA. Jeffrey is also survived by his siblings Ida Carolee Tucker (Eddie) of Panama City, FL., Angela Inez Beems (Gary) of Deckerville MI, and Nolan Jack Rowell of Waycross GA. Jeffrey especially loved his nephews, Branden and Brighton Tucker of Panama City FL. and his nephew Michael & niece Nyla Beems of Deckerville MI. Jeffrey loved his many aunts and uncles and very special cousins.

Jeffrey was of the Catholic faith and a proud 2018 graduate of North Central Technical College. Jeffrey had a great love for his children, girlfriend Shayna Chartier of WI, his family, friends, and music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Harvest Fellowship Church in Jasper, FL.
