Jeffrey "Jeff" Clay Vinson, age 62, of Lake Park, Georgia passed away at his home on Wednesday January 9, 2019.

Jeff was born in Jacksonville, FL. on March 13, 1956 to William Jack Vinson and the late Frances Wells Vinson. He grew up in Jasper most of his life with his brother Brad harassing the older neighborhood girls. Teenage years brought on fast cars and pretty ladies. Jeff loved riding the backroads or just sitting around with a bunch of friends just enjoying the good life. He was a member of the 1974 graduating class at Hamilton County High School. Jeff went to work as a respiratory therapist representing several home care and respiratory companies in the South Georgia area. Jeff loved to fish and hunt when he was able. He was a talented musician and spent many weekends out on the road playing different venues. His best days, were the days he got to enjoy just being "Papa" to his five grandchildren. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Vinson, his brother, Bradley Vinson, his son, Clay Vinson and his step-mother, Louise Vinson.

Survivors include his two sons and daughters-in-law, Kyle and Jade Vinson and Clint and Mia Vinson; his father, Jack Vinson; grandchildren, Hunter, Hayley, Kayden, Hadlee and Branson; also surviving are his nieces and special cousin, Sheryl Goodbread.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL.
