Jerry Don Plair, age 67, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away in his sleep at his residence in Valdosta, Georgia on February 25, 2017.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home.

Jerry Don Plair was born in Valdosta, Georgia on January 12, 1950 to the late Ed and Lossie Fishburn Plair. Don lived most of his life in Jennings, Florida and attended school in Hamilton County his whole life. Following graduation he served in the United States Army and later worked for Southern Railroad.

Don is survived by two brothers, Gary Plair of Jennings, FL. and David Plair of Covington, GA.; three sisters, Patti Patrick, St. Augustine, FL., Faye Wacter Blair, Madison, FL. and Lynn Plair Davis, Jennings, FL.; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of cousins also survive.
