Jimmie Byrd Dupree, age 103, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Jacksonville.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.

Jimmie was born on January 25, 1916 in Hamilton County, FL. to the late James and Nancy Fennell Byrd and was one of 11 children. She met and married the late Emmett Lee Dupree. The two resided in Jasper for many years before moving to Jacksonville in 1985 to enjoy retirement. She was a member of the Jasper First United Methodist Church and even after she moved to Jacksonville she would make the trip back often to attend services. Jimmie was preceded in death  by her husband Emmett and her son Dr. Lee Dupree and his wife Janice Bridges Dupree.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
