Mr. Jimmy C. Moore, age 76, of Valdosta, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at Lake Haven Nursing Center in Valdosta, GA. following an extended illness. Mr. Moore was born in Mayday, GA. to the late Henry and Susie Lofton Moore. He worked for the State of Georgia for many years until he retired. Jimmy was passionate about attending church and his belief in the Lord. In his spare time, he was an avid antique collector. Mr. Moore also served his country in the United States Army. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Franklin Moore.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy R. Moore (Mary), Valdosta, GA.; two daughters, Melba Colburn (Scott), Fargo, GA. and Felicia O'Berry (DeWayne), Lake Park, GA.; one brother, Ray Moore, Valdosta, GA.; numerous nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Per his wishes, Jimmy will be cremated. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. was in charge of immediate arrangements.
