Joanna W. Cassady, of Boynton Beach, FL. went to heaven on May 9, 2011 after a long illness. She was born on August 8, 1934 in Denton, Georgia to the late John R. and Inez Williams. Joanna attended and graduated from Florida School for the Deaf in 1952 and then married Clyde H. Cassady. They had three children, Clyde (Nikki), Carol Mckeever (Tom) and David. Her husband preceded her in death. Both were very active in the deaf community. Joanna was a Christian and attended Barwick Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three children, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, FL. on Monday, May 30, 2011.
