Joey Riley Combass, born on October 25, 1975, in Homerville, GA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 4, 2024 at the age of 48. Joey's life was filled with the love of family, friends, and simple pleasures.

Joey was self-employed.  He was known for his ability to work diligently when it was time, and to have fun when it was time.  He loved having a drink on the front porch or by a fire, spending quality time with others and listening to his favorite music. His warmth, humor, and cheerful spirit touched the lives of many. Joey was a member of Antioch Revival Center in Perry, FL.

Joey was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Patricia Combass. He is survived by his loving girlfriend, April Weyant of Jasper; his sons, Dylan Combass of Live Oak and Kylur Combass of Jasper; his daughter, McKenzie Combass of Live Oak; and his brother, James Combass of Jasper. Joey will also be deeply missed by his good friend, Gerald Lewis of Jasper, as well as by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were like family to him.

In honor of Joey's life, the family is planning a memorial service. Details will be shared with extended family and friends.
