John Lewis Blair, age 85 of Jennings, FL. passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Madison Health and Rehab following a brief illness.

John was born in Echols County, GA on February 6, 1932 to the late Rolland and Marie Swilley Blair. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Winn Dixie for 43 years. He moved to Hamilton County from Miami in 2009. He did so enjoy horse riding and fishing with the grandchildren. "Papa John" was always up to something good or bad "something".

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Michelle O'Neill; one son, John Steven "Steve" Blair of Lake Park, GA; two daughters, Dianna Blair Gaugler, Conyers, GA and Jennah Bass (Ronnie Charles), Jennings, FL.; two sisters, Montez Howell, Mayday, GA and Betty Coggins, Valdosta, GA; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Burnham Christian Church near Jennings, FL. with Bro. Eddie Roebuck officiating.
