John Wendell Lee

John Wendell Lee, age 75, passed away at his home in Lake Park, Georgia, on April 17, 2026.

He was born on April 4, 1951, to Charlie Lee Jr. and Hazel Pollock, both of whom preceded him in death.

After graduating high school, John answered the call to serve his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated 42 years of hard work to the mines at PCS (Nutrien) in White Springs, Florida.

On June 15, 2001, he married the love of his life, his beloved and spirited wife, Darlene. Together they shared 26 years of marriage filled with love and companionship.

John was a simple man who found joy in the quiet things in life. He loved working in his yard and spending time with his family, who meant everything to him.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Darlene Lee, along with many other loving family members who will miss him dearly.

In accordance with his wishes and those of his family, John will be cremated, and no public services are planned at this time.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
