John Wayne Malone, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the age of 82.

John was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 15, 1940 to the late John Henry and Mildred Hall Malone. In a picture the family selected to accompany his obituary, it is evident that he lived life and had a heap of personality as he lifts himself up to prove how strong he still was at then 80. He went on to prove his determination to live and be strong well into his 82nd year of life. John was that person that was referred to as "a jack of all trades". Primarily he was a carpenter but he was just one of those guys that could do anything. He enjoyed spending time with family, working in the yard and riding his bicycle. He was a talented musician and could play many instruments but he was especially gifted at playing the piano.

Survivors include his son, John Grover Malone of Jasper, FL.; and his daughter, Linda L. Malone of Virginia; one sister, Linda S. Malone of Jacksonville, FL. and a granddaughter, Delta.

Graveside services were held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery.

There will be no formal visitation.
