Obituary
John Leroy Morris, Jr., age 45, of White Springs, FL. passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at First Baptist Church in White Springs, FL. Interment followed at Swift Creek Cemetery near White Springs.
John was born in Lake City, FL. on Feb. 12, 1969. He was a correctional officer for 22 years with the last six of those years at Suwannee Correctional Institution and the previous 16 at Hamilton Correctional Institution. John had a love for the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, John Leroy Morris, Sr.
Survivors include his wife Brandy Daniels Morris of White Springs; one son, Addam Morris, Ray City, GA.; two daughters, Brittany Morris, Ray City, GA. and Megan Morris, White Springs, FL.; a step-son, Brian Corbett, Jasper, FL.; and his mother, Jean Morris of White Springs, FL.; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
