John Allen Scaff, age 73, of Jasper, FL. passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 following an extended illness. John Allen was born January 28, 1938 to the late Leon Earl and Rebecca Grace Tyre Scaff. He was a retired welder, heavy equipment operator and supervisor at P.C.S. (Occidental) in White Springs. Following his retirement he enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. John Allen was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Joshua Scaff. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Mark Scaff (DeNese), Jasper, FL.; one daughter, Susan Lenhart (Curtis), Quaker City, Ohio.; three sisters, Joanne Young, Kitty Waldron and Ellen Deas, all of Jennings, FL.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Cordero officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
