Jon N. Register "Nicky", age 53, of Echols County, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at his home following a brief illness.
Jon was born in Gainesville, FL. on September 18, 1962 to John Robert and Jean Franklin Register. He lived most of his life in Echols County and attended the Lowndes Service Center where he learned life skills. Throughout his lifetime Nicky suffered with a debilitating illness but never lost he zest for living life to its fullest. Nicky loved people and was known for the beautiful smile that he always had on his face.

Survivors include his parents, John Robert and Jean Register; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Deborah Register, Lake Park, GA.; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services were held Friday June 10, 2016 at Statenville Cemetery in Statenville, GA. with Rev. Harold McLeod officiating.
