Jose Hector Martinez Jr.

Jose Hector Martinez Jr., age 25, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2026.

Jose was born on August 18, 2000. He attended Suwannee High School, graduating in 2019. He was known for his outgoing personality and his deep love for spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who meant the world to him. He especially loved going on walks with them, creating memories they will always cherish.

Though Jose faced many challenges in life, he always tried to make the best of every situation. He had a strong love for reading and found comfort and strength in his faith, cherishing his time at church.

He is survived by his mother, Jessica Sanchez; his siblings, Cheyann, Sierra, America, Lydia, Ayden, Samuel, Arianna, Estela, and Estrella; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Elisa, Lizbeth, Marisol, Maria, and Thiago.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose Martinez Sr., and Elias Torres.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
