Mr. Joseph Wayne Griffith, Sr., age 70, of Jennings, FL. passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at his home following a brief illness. Mr. Griffith was born in Cromwell, Indiana on April 1, 1940 to the late Alton and Elsie Griffith. He was a retired supervisor with Sprint. Mr. Griffith moved to Hamilton County in 2001 from Naples, FL. He was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church in Lake Park, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Styles Griffith, Jennings; three sons, Joseph Griffith, Jr. (Debbie), Jennings; Randall Griffith (Tami), Monticello, FL.; Robin Griffith (Bonnie), Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Alan Griffith (Marilyn), Kimmell, Indiana; one sister, Anita Smith (Jim), Tallahassee, FL.; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 at Lake Park United Methodist Church.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 9, between the hours of 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home.
