Josephine Todd Kato, age 68, of White Springs, FL. passed away at her home Thursday, November 24, 2011. It was a beautiful Thanksgiving Day and such an appropriate day for this fine Christian lady to go be with her Lord . She was an example of how we should be thankful for what God has blessed us with. Josephine was born on July 11, 1943 to the late Robert and Alma Price Todd. She married Mr. Bill Kato and raised a fine family. She loved her immediate and extended family as deeply as was possible. Josephine was a faithful member of Jasper Assembly of God Church. She loved her church family and kept her community prayed up. Her faithfulness was unmatchable. She will be remembered as a prayer warrior, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Kato, White Springs; three sons, Billy Kato, Dallas, GA, Robert Kato, Melbourne, FL., and David Kato, Ocala, FL.; two daughters, Fay Price, Columbus, GA and Ellen Allen, Statenville, GA; two brothers, Robert Todd, Truckee, CA.; and Charlie Taylor, Lake City, FL.; four sisters, Mary White, Ellabelle, GA., Julie Mears, Lakeland, FL., Freddie Ann Crews, Baxley, GA., and Bernice Kipker, New Orleans, LA; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Jasper Assembly of God Church with Pastor Charles Helms officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
