Juanita Lee Henry, age 57, of Jennings, FL. passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Shands at U.F. hospital in Gainesville, FL. following an illness of some time. The former Live Oak, Florida resident was born in Weirton, West Virginia, the third daughter of John and Dorothy Hurley. She knew that God had blessed her life and she worked hard to give back. Juanita was a heart transplant survivor of some twenty years. Given a second chance at life she was blessed with the gift of working with children and teenagers. She loved the Lord and her family. Juanita was a member of West Lake Church of God where she was active as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Roger A. Henry Sr.; two sons, Mark Anthony Henry (Rebecca), Hahira, GA. and Roger Allen Henry, Jr. (Kathy), Newberry, FL.; her precious mother, Dorothy Hurley, Live Oak, FL.; three sisters, Rosita Hurley, Live Oak, FL., Judy Burns, Cotttondale, FL. and Carol Jenkins, Live Oak, FL.; two grandchildren, Brianna and Samuel Henry.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at West Lake Church of God. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
