Mrs. Julia Louise Hanson, age 91, of Lake City, FL. passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Haven Hospice. Mrs. Hanson was born in Thomasville, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Julian Lawrence Daugherty and Lelia Gertrude Hill Daugherty. Mrs. Hanson was retired from Belk's Dept. Store in Lake City. In her spare time she loved working outside with her flowers and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by husbands, Asa Foy Kinsey and Bob Hanson. Mrs. Hanson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jasper.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Norris (Charles H. Norris, Jr.), Lake City, FL.; one sister, Dean Beckley, Lake City, FL.; two grandchildren, Traci Slanker (Keith) and Troy Crews (Rhonda); four great-grandchildren, Dustin Crews (Kendra), Kirsten Slanker, Taylor Crews and Brooklynn Crews; one great-great grandson, Colt Lee.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 28th at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper, FL. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper.
