Julie Leigh Marlow, age 55, of Jasper, Florida passed away on October, 24, 2025, surrounded by her family. A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Julie was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Marlow, and her brother, Jason Marlow. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Marlow, her stepfather, Larry Huddleston, her sister-in-law Gloria, her nephews Forrest Marlow, Curtis (Samantha) Marlow, and her niece Melissa (Bubba) Bennett, seven great-nephews and 2 great-nieces, and many friends and extended family members.
The daughter of Wilma and Curtis Marlow, Julie was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Following her graduation from Paxon Senior High in 1988, Julie and her parents moved to Jasper, Florida, where she resided until her death.
Julie was a master at jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, word search, and latch hook. She enjoyed fishing, spending time in the mountains of North Carolina with her parents, animals, and doing yard work. Julie loved children and spent years working in the church nursery and volunteering at Greenwood and Hamilton County Elementary School. If there's a nursery in heaven, we're sure she's already working and enjoying every minute! Julie was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Carson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Florida.
